The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week this past weekend to cheer on a close designer companion.

She was present at the Balenciaga show after taking a journey alone across the Atlantic.

She has worn several creations by the brand's new creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and the attendance reflected "her backing of his latest creative phase," a representative for the duchess stated.

This marked her initial visit at the style showcase for more than a decade.

"They have worked closely together collaborating on design for key moments on the global platform."

"She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was the same."

"Tonight represents the culmination of many years of creative work and companionship, shown through her endorsement for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga."

Meghan, who announced her arrival in Paris with an social media post, wore a white outfit of wide-leg trousers and a blazer from the collection for the show on Saturday.

The duchess is most recently noted to have visited the UK in late 2022 to attend a charity event and was in the country when Queen Elizabeth II died. The couple then stayed on for the memorial service.

Prince Harry met his parent, the monarch last month amid speculation about a mending of ties.

He has traveled multiple times to the UK in the past few years for a variety of engagements including for fundraising occasions and to be present at court cases.

Recently, Prince Harry appeared to dial in for a High Court hearing in a lawsuit against the publishing group.
