Game Introduction

Hello and welcome to the women's rugby league championship! This competition has expanded significantly and improved yearly, starting with only four squads back in 2018 to a much more significant 12 teams. Surprisingly, the championship match includes the Roosters and Broncos in the grand final, exactly like back in 2018.

Each squad have been exceptional throughout the campaign – the Roosters are yet to be defeated in 2025 and Brisbane has dropped just one match. The two clubs display star players across the park and each is fully equipped of claiming victory on their day.

The last matchup between them occurred in match week three – during July – when Sydney achieved a tight triumph by a mere four-point margin. Throughout that match, Sydney began powerfully, established a substantial break margin, before the Broncos mounted a final period fightback. Olivia Kernick scored a crucial final touchdown to secure the victory for the title holders in an entertaining encounter. Should the two sides duplicate that effort from that previous meeting, fans can expect an exceptional contest today.

Considering the buildup before us, let's begin!
